Cook and learn for a good cause!

Although Buenos Aires frequently gets more international attention due to being our country’s capital, Argentina is a rich country composed of 23 provinces, enjoying the most diverse nature, geographies, traditions and, of course, dishes, spanning from north to south, and west to east.

One of Argentina’s most delicious and famous recipes is the “Empanadas”. This versatile pie can be filled with any ingredient combinations you can think of, both savory and sweet, as well as vegetarian.

This time, you will learn with us how to make “Empanadas salteñas”, a typical dish from the north-western Argentinian province, Salta. These empanadas are mild, juicy, and as some say, our country’s most distinctive.

Although empanadas can be found in restaurants around the world and also in the Netherlands, homemade empanadas have a special touch, and making them with our own hands is always fun. Be sure to invite your family or friends to cook with you for this recipe!

Are you tempted yet? Then join us!

On Saturday, 3 July at 16:00 hs CET (11.00 hs Argentina) via Zoom, we will be holding an approximately 1,5-hour online workshop on: “Empanadas salteñas – meat and vegan option”.
