Our Story

How we started

The Argentine-Dutch Solidarity Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial aid to non-governmental institutions and projects across Argentina. Founded on June 22nd, 2002, at the Argentine Embassy in The Hague, the foundation was officially registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK Haaglanden 27253466) on September 30th of the same year (RSIN number: 816332137).

Born in the heart of the Netherlands in the wake of the 2001 economic crisis in Argentina, our organisation emerged as a beacon of hope. We were inspired by the resilience of the Argentine people and the desire to support grassroots initiatives that aimed to improve the lives of vulnerable groups.

Since our creation, we have remained steadfast in our goal: to empower and uplift those in need. Our volunteers, hailing from both Argentina and the Netherlands, work tirelessly to provide essential support, from education and healthcare to food security and disaster relief.

Today, in 2024, our impact extends far beyond our origins. With a global network of volunteers, we continue to connect communities and drive positive change. Our work is a testament to the power of human compassion and the enduring spirit of solidarity.
