Purchase of children’s day shelter ‘Los Jazmines
‘ and sale of greeting cards made by the children
Maipœ, Mendoza Province (AAFME)
The aim of the project is to raise funds to purchase a home for the current ‘Casa del Ni–o Los Jazmines’, a Day Shelter for deprived children in Maipœ, Mendoza Province. The cost of the house is estimated at US$ 15,000.
In March 2004, the American Women’s Club of the Hague made a donation towards this project.
Attention: since the one year period given to AAFME to purchase a suitable house has been expired, the Foundation has decided to use the € 12.500 raised for that purpose in another projects. More details will be given shortly.
